A modern Passion Play
St James’ Players present Passioneaster2018 on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th March at 7:30pm. Tickets £5 (£2.50 for students) available through St James’ Church Office, Taunton (01823 272931) during office hours – (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-12:30). Come and explore the Passion of Jesus in words, music and dance through the eyes and thoughts of some who may have been there. There’ll be opportunities for the audience to join in and be part of the action too. The gates to the Jerusalem market open at 7:30 and the play will start around 7:45. Entry includes four shekels to spend on refreshments in the market and there will also be a Traidcraft stall. Proceeds from the performances will go towards the local charity, Open Door.
Dementia Friendly Café St Mary’s Bridgwater: with the Rosary Nursing home are hosting a “safe harbour” café on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (10am to 12noon); This is a dementia friendly space and open to anyone who would benefit from this.
